The Position:
We are currently seeking a motivated Social Care Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working a minimum of 5 days per fortnight.
The position is based at our Wellington Views aged care home in Old Beach, Tasmania.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Hold a current Certificate IV in leisure and lifestyle or similar discipline.
- Proficient computer systems and information management skills.
- A genuine interest for working in aged care.
- Well developed customer service skills.
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to lead and organise the social care team and volunteers.
- An ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate is required to provide a current National Police Certificate without conviction that would preclude employment in aged care.
