Supply Chain Excellence Manager

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Excellence Manager to provide support and advice to the Vinidex Supply Chain Leadership Team in aligning, implementing, and maintaining OPEX amp; CI strategies and creating and maintaining associated policies and procedures. You should have proven experience in project management, change management, continuous improvement methodologies and work to a best practice framework as well as have great leadership capability.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Identify, implement, and manage strategic CI programme of work for Distribution and Logistics, that includes all elements of Lean (5S, Kaizen, Poka Yoke, etc.)
- Be the subject matter expert for Distribution and Logistics driving improved capabilities and best practice across the network
- Support the National Distribution Manager to delivering improvements in key supply chain areas of safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity through CI initiatives
- Ownership for review and development of future state process flows, SOPs and training manuals
- Lead value stream mapping and improvement projects
- Develop tools and systems to create business benefits through efficiencies and cost out initiatives
- Facilitate improvements in overall supply chain reliability and cost performance
Requirements
- A related Bachelor's degree and typically 8+ years' relevant work experience in supply chain, preferably in heavy industry/manufacturing environment
- 6 Sigma and Lean training with proven record of accomplishments
- Change agent, ability to foster transformation, good influencing/convincing and stakeholder management skills
- Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the business
- Some requirement for travel within Australia
