About the role:
This role will be a part of the Operations Department reporting to the Site Manager to oversee a multi-faceted logistics hub for a luxury fashion client to achieve business Pamp;L objectives and deliver expected performance financially and service-wise.
What you will be doing:
- Warehouse operations, Hamp;S and performance
- Ensure on-time infrastructure in place and SOP compliance
- Introduce best practices to ensure optimised operations are delivered under the highest service quality
- Reporting KPI to management
- Ensure that client’s routine reports with monthly reports and internal scorecard are prepared in a timely and accurate manner
- Staff training, development amp; change management
- QHSE program ownership regarding your team and activities
- Develop creative solutions to both internal amp; external operational challenges
- Implement additional functions as mandated by management
- Operate customer relationship
- Establish, maintain and develop a strong relationship with client
- Act as the clients’ centre of gravity on implementations and issue resolution
- Plan amp; attend regular client meetings to discuss processes, issues, mitigations amp; development opportunities
- Cost control amp; Personnel Resource Management
- Profit and loss responsibility
- Customer billing
Requirements
The successful applicant
Essential:
- Leading amp; managing teams that emphasise safety, housekeeping and continuous improvement with 5S, Lean management and relevant components
- Managing 3PL logistical operation
- Pamp;L knowledge
- Prior experience managing Australian and international customer contracts and service expectations
- Local pallet and parcel freight distribution experience
Desirable:
- Experience with Manhattan WMS will be a plus
- Prior experience managing B2C amp; Ecommerce logistical operation will be an advantage
