We are looking for a TestOps to join our Technology team. The purpose of this role is to introduce and maintain the discipline of TestOps best practices in order to scale testing operations while optimising quality and delivery speed within our Technology team.
Requirements
You will beResponsible for:
- Analysing and researching the MedicalDirector Software Development Lifecycle and understanding areas for opportunity in automation, monitoring and testing
- Adapting industry best practices to the MedicalDirector Software and TechOps needs
- Embedding and understanding the practices of squads, developing relationships with Software Engineers, Test Engineers, TechOps and the Product team
- Design, develop and implement a plan to enable a release anytime capability within the software team, teaching and mentoring engineers throughout the process and presenting on monthly progress
- Rapidly identify, design and deliver on proof of concepts to evaluate ideas and approaches
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks
- Work with the CTO to ensure that budgetary constraints are met
- Evangelise technology and software development across the business
Behaviours, Key Skills amp; Experience:
- Proven engineering experience and capability to perform autonomously and at a leadership level
- Highly experienced in testing operations, and how to support upfront testing efforts to enable fast cycle times
- Strong experience in change management and ability to bring the team along for the journey
- Passion for mentoring high performing colleagues
- Experience in agile software development practices
- Computer Science/Software Engineering degree an advantage
- Cloud infrastructure experience an advantage
- Organisational and communication skills with experience developing amp; instilling a culture of ownership amp; cross functional collaboration
- Passionate about technology and applications/platforms, and an ability to evangelise internally and externally
- Down-to-earth, make it happen, analytical and detail oriented with a strong drive and innovative approach
