About the position:
The focus of this position will be monitoring the domestic movements of our 24,000 Shipping Containers Handled P.A. With an aim to reduce, or on charge any detention or demurrage incurred. Ideally the candidate would have a range of logistics experience coupled with basic administration or accounting background.
- Take the lead with managing container detention, demurrage, damage, and storage invoices
- Other administrative logistics tasks as per your experience
About you:
You display exceptional verbal and written skills, excellent time management and be computer literate in the Microsoft suite.
Essentials to be considered:
- Must have previous experience in shipping and logistics
- Experience in a similar role, including demonstrated office/administration experience
- Exceptional time management ability
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
- Flexibility and the ability to think on your feet
