Leasing Business Development Manager

We are searching for a motivated individual to actively prospect themselves to grow the portfolio, by implementing new business development plans and through presentation efforts to potential and pipeline clients. The position will require you to perform leasing activity of such new managements gained including client management, tenant selection and property advertising liaison with our advertising team.

This position requires the candidate to work every Saturday with an RDO during the week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing clients, tenants and landlords and ensuring timely communication via phone, email or face-to-face
• Scheduling and carrying out public / private inspections including on Saturdays
• Marketing preparation, property copy, and proofing of advertising where required
• Processing tenant applications and conducting reference checks
• Prepare leasing contracts, bond and finalise/ summarise tenancy agreements
• Actively prospect for new business opportunities and nurture relationships with clients
• Completing rental market appraisals to clients and Sales Agents
• Stay up to date with market trends
• Achieving monthly KPI’s and regular lead reporting
• Ensure properties are ready for leasing and prepare successful tenancies for handover to the property manager.

Requirements

• Current experience working as a BDM or within leasing;
• Strong knowledge and confidence in property management legislation;
• Immaculate presentation and communication skills;
• Current QLD Sales Registration Certificate; and
• Current QLD Drivers’ license.
