Within Australia amp; New Zealand, Beam has shared e-scooter and e-bike operations across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, and in Auckland, Wellington, Whangarei, Whanganui and Palmerston North.

About the role!
We are expanding our operations in Australia and New Zealand, and on the look out for a business development associate to drive partnerships and initiatives to help us grow across our region!
You'll be working closely with our Head of Partnerships where you'll play a key role in developing and executing our partnership strategy across ANZ.
For this role we would love to hear from applicants based in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne or Sydney!
Requirements
- Drive new partnerships and initiatives to promote growth and long-term success for Beam, at the direction of the Head of Partnerships, ANZ
- Own the end-to-end BD lifecycle of key programs; pitch, negotiate, sign, and execute strong partnerships
- Collaborate closely with Beam’s ANZ city managers to identify, prioritise, and develop partnership targets
- Drive alignment with cross-functional workstreams across Operations, GR, Legal, Finance and Product teams
- Drive informed decisions: utilise data and analysis to provide actionable insights and ensure we’re driving toward the best possible outcome
- Create scalable materials and processes to empower local teams across ANZ
- You must be available and comfortable to travel across Australia and New Zealand
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships or client success with the potential and attitude required to learn new skills
- Dealmaker and strategic thinker with an ability to execute in an evolving, ambiguous, and energetic environment
- Ability to negotiate deal terms, build value for all parties, and create long-term partnerships
- Strong experience working with in-market operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Expertise in stakeholder management
- Outstanding problem solver: creative, solution-oriented, adaptable
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills; effective at delivering executive level presentations
