THE TEAM
The Cricket Solutions Tribe is responsible for all customer-facing web, desktop and mobile applications used by fans, players, coaches, scorers and community volunteers to administer and engage the cricket community.
THE POSITION
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of all Product Management responsibilities for the portfolio of cricket products. You will work closely with customers and users to understand customer problems and user needs and translate those into requirements to build a market leading product portfolio. You will work closely with the engineering team daily throughout the development lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work under the direction of the Head of Cricket to develop the product vision and product strategy including product positioning and value proposition for each product in your portfolio
- Own the product roadmap for the cricket product portfolio, aligned to customer needs and corporate strategy
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitor landscape and market in which we operate to identify opportunities and inform new product development
- Develop and maintain relationships with our customers to understand customer needs and inform the product roadmap
- Conduct user research and testing to gain a deep understanding of user needs and inform the product roadmap
- Define product requirements (user stories) and work in partnership with the engineering and delivery teams as the Product Owner throughout the development lifecycle to realise the product vision, deliver value for our customers and drive best-in-class experiences
- Define product success metrics and regularly analyse, evaluate and report on product performance and adoption
- Support product launch, marketing and sales efforts by acting as a product expert
- Work with Senior Product Managers from other Tribes, collaborating on product management best practices and maintain knowledge of product enhancements in other sports that could be leveraged by the cricket product portfolio
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Product Manager
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of cricket is a must
- Previous experience in Agile development environments is desired, but not required
