You are a Senior Full-stack Developer with 8+ years of experience, well-versed in front-end and back-end systems, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy coming up with new features and automation to optimize processes.
About the role
The Senior Full-Stack Developer at Foundr is responsible for leading all technical projects, builds amp; maintenance to help fuel our current growth.
The Senior Full-Stack Developer will be responsible for:
- Building new tech systems to be integrated into Foundr’s current tech stack ongoing
- Maintaining and updating the existing tech stack at Foundr, ensuring consistent uptime with all online assets, including website, checkout systems, and online platforms.
- Working with and scaling remote development team to cohesively work as 1 unit, building all necessary front-end and back-end assets via SaaS agile methodologies, based on the Marketing calendar and quarterly KPI dashboard.
- Working closely with the remote customer success team to identify and solve any technical bugs/issues being reported by our audience.
- Coordinating timeframes to meet deadlines for key tech asset deliverables
- Creating and maintaining software amp; website documentation for maintenance amp; debugging
- Architect and design in-house software solutions and integrations to replace off-the-shelf software being used in a tech stack
- Ensuring our website stack is up to date, including plugins.
- Providing mentorship to developers to skill up in their respective specialisations.
Requirements
Essential skills, qualifications, and experience
- 8+ years of software development (backend and frontend)
- 8+ years of backend development using PHP, or NodeJS
- 8+ years of database knowledge, MySQL / SQL
- 8+ years of various javascript frameworks, including NodeJS, React
- 8+ years of API integration.
- Knowledge in functional or object-oriented programming.
- Adept at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
- Confident in your Git and Github skills.
- Able to write well-documented, clean code.
- A confident communicator in English.
- Proactive about ideas and confident enough to speak up when you have an opinion
- Able to give constructive criticism about the work of others and can receive it about yours
- Understands how to stay focused on delivering
- Love to be challenged, in and out of your day job
Desirable skills and experience
- WordPress / WordPress plugins development
- Experience in JS Framework, NextJS / Gatsby / Angular
- Experience in NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Cloud computing is a bonus, ideally AWS, but not limited to Azure or Google Cloud.
