Eco Outdoor is Australia's premier supplier of architectural flooring and walling products and outdoor furniture, servicing the design and architecture industries. We have an opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team in Brisbane, and help us continue to build into the market here on the East Coast.

About The Role

The role of Junior Business Development Manager is a key position in our business. You’ll be responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining key business relationships within your dedicated area, these relationships drive a large portion of the revenue for the business.

We believe the key to building our business is in building strong, trusting relationships with our clients across the design and construction industries. We work in a world where repeat clients are the most important and effective way to build our business.

You will manage a large list of clients across many market segments from architects to landscape architects, to interior designers to contractors and landscapers, with the support of an Account Manager. It is your responsibility to seek out where the most opportunity lies (with support from your team). Your personality, effective self-management, motivation and follow through are what will make you successful.

Requirements

The successful person will have

  • A natural interest and ability in building strong and trusting relationships with people
  • The ability to confidently manage client relationships and general day-to-day enquiries
  • Good attention to detail in handling business development leads and managing projects from lead to delivery.
  • An interest in architecture and design.
  • The ambition to grow and develop existing client relationships through exceptional service and product counsel.
  • Experience with CRM software a bonus (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proven work experience in a relevant sales role
  • Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships


Responsibilities

  • Working in tandem with your Account Manager to understand client requirements and provide solutions
  • Provide after-sales support to retain customers
  • Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries
  • Build strong client relationships, through regular communication
  • Creating customized sales plans for key clients
  • Promote new products/services to existing customers
  • Being a coach and mentor to your Account Manager
