We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes at our Sydney facility. To be successful in this role, you should have good HR experience, excellent communication skills and can-do attitude.
Please note it is essential for the success of this role to be based at our Wetherill Park facility.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities revolve around; compliance, communication, metrics, talent management amp; team engagement, recruitment and onboarding
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of talent
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Familiarity and interpretation of the Award (guidance to Production teams).
- Address employees’ queries (e.g. on compensation and labor regulations)
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise (act as a consultant to managers and staff regarding policies and procedures)
Requirements
- Excellent communication abilities
- People oriented and results driven
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Able to multitask and set priorities
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
- Ability to foster healthy employee relations
- Data driven with demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus
- Previous experience working in manufacturing setting is a plus
