Your new role
We are looking for a Digital Developer to join our Transformation amp; Technology team on a permanent, full-time basis. Although this role reports to the manager based in Auckland, as part of our hybrid ways of working, this role is based in South Melbourne.
GWA is going through a technology transformation and this role will support the digital journey by transitioning from an outsourced model to a newly created internal digital team. You will support the current platform we use, however your primary focus will be on developing the new platform by partnering with the marketing, sales, and technology teams, in addition to external vendors to define what the architecture could look like to deliver great customer experiences.
You’ll be part of an exciting time of digital transformation. As a digital developer at GWA Group you will be an advocate for the ongoing design and development of modern digital assets.
About you
Along with your minimum of 5 years experience delivering scalable, web-based applications and your qualifications in information technology (or equivalent) you will have:
- Front-End development skills using modern JavaScript languages amp; frameworks (Knowledge of Blazor would be ideal)
- Back-End development capability with solid .NET Core/C# experience
- Good understanding of software design patterns and identity management integration (Auth0)
- Knowledge of working with Databases and associated frameworks (e.g. Entity Framework, Dapper)
- Demonstrated experience managing and integrating with headless e-commerce, content management systems and other components of a micro-services architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud hosting technologies amp; patterns (Azure / AWS)
- A strong understanding of functional requirements, assisting with design, unit testing and integration testing related to developments
- Experience of Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience with open source CMS and e-commerce platforms (i.e. WordPress, Experience of CI/ CD amp; DevOps practices amp; tooling (Azure Devops)
- Drupal, Magento would be a plus
- Supporting and mentoring other developers in team
