At Fonda, we bring our guests a taste of the mouth-watering, robust tacos and burritos from the streets of Mexico right to your palms. Our food is aimed to be shared and we encourage everyone to dip into any Fonda restaurant with friends or family and relish in a delicious and heartwarming meal.
To help us along with this mission, we are looking for another addition to our Knox Ozone casa.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is crucial to running their Fonda casa. They share the vision and purpose of Fonda to lead and inspire their team of Fondarians ( that's what we are all affectionately known as around here! ) in an effort to bring people together to genuinely connect. They hold everyone accountable for treating guests as if they were guests in their own home.

The ideal candidate will bring their experience from other hospitality establishments but also be someone who is ready to take the next step in their career for Fonda.
Whilst reporting to the Knox Ozone Restaurant Manager, it is also important for our Fondarians to feel comfortable working amongst each other so being able to work in a team is a must.

Requirements
- Must have experience in Assistant Restaurant Management of a previous venue turning $80,000 p/week
- Must have experience in weekly reporting, stocktake, rostering
- Must have experience in ensuring OHS standards
- Working across front and back of house; you will lead, support, and manage a diverse team
- Able to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Ambitious with an ability to motivate staff
- An energetic and creative individual that can make guests feel welcome
- A service professional who is passionate about continuously developing Fonda
- An advanced level of regulatory compliance across food amp; beverages, product quality, training and safety
- This role will see you working across FOH and BOH
