Working as part of our Journey Beyond Group, you play an integral role in supporting our business to share special places and shape lasting memories.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This Senior Finance Leadership role will lead all corporate finance and accounting activities of the Journey Beyond Group to facilitate and underpin the achievement of the Group’s ambitious growth plans and strategic milestones.

The role will drive the transformation of the Group’s shared services functions, including corporate accounting and reporting, AR, AP, Payroll and Procurement through implementing best practice processes, systems, automation and the delivery of key finance improvement projects.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Lead Group financial planning/budgeting/forecasting
  • Prepare Group consolidation reporting and financial statements
  • Evaluate and manage financial performance
  • Partner with Group GM’s to maximises performance
  • Facilitate period-end processes and reports
  • Manage cashflow and group treasury function
  • Oversee strategic procurement function and ensure value delivery for the business
  • Assist in capital planning and project approval
  • Lead the payroll, procurement, AP amp; AR functions
  • Manage debt obligations and assess investment opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and statutory obligations

YOUR KEY ATTRIBUTES:

To be successful you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance/Accounting with CPA/ CA professional membership. You will also be able to demonstrate that you have successfully worked in a similar role for a company of similar scale.

You will have advanced strategic financial skills and knowledge, be a leader that works in a collegiate and collaborative style across a national environment.
