Fronditha Care are looking for a motivated Cook/Chef that wants to make a positive impact to people’s lives and enjoy the benefits of a fulfilling role in a leading organisation.
About the Role:
- Assist in ensuring the provision of nutritional, culturally relevant and well-presented food to the elderly residents.
- Prepare foods of all types (keeping in mind the focus on Greek cuisine requirements and preferences of the residents).
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have
- COOK: Qualifications in Hospitality (preferable an Advanced Diploma) or a recognised equivalent, or working towards some aligned and relevant qualification; and demonstrated prior experience working as a cook in a commercial kitchen, ideally with a background in Greek cuisine.
- FSA: Experience in preparing and cooking with a passion for great food service, ideally in Greek cuisine (although prior experiences are important, we do provide 1 on 1 training).
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Empathy with the elderly’s needs
- COVID-19 vaccination as per Government mandate and Fronditha Care Policy
- National Police Check
