About the role
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join us! As a member of the technical support team, you’ll provide proactive and reactive support services directly to our clients. This support will involve remote assistance over the phone and ad-hoc onsite visits when required and participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support.
This role requires Australian Citizenship preferably with baseline/NV1 Clearance - candidates without citizenship need not apply.
What you’ll do
As the Senior Systems Engineer this is an excellent technical opportunity, joining a fantastic team of peers with opportunity to take your career to new heights! You will be part of our extensive Operations business who support each other working collaboratively across locations. You’ll be providing technical maintenance, support services within agreed service levels along with maintaining technical documentation. You will also be using tools and processes to deliver services to customers to ensure their service level agreements are met, proactively managing their infrastructure and driving service process improvement.
What you’ll bring
To be successful in this role you’ll bring at least 3 years’ experience as a System Engineer with Windows Server technologies.
Your experience should include:
- Excellent knowledge of Windows server OS
- Min 5 years’ experience with AWS, Azure, VMware, Citrix Xen Server
- Thorough understanding of MS server operating functions, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, ADFS, DHCP, DFS
- Excellent judgement in selecting methods and techniques to obtain results
- Proven analytics and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer relationship building and management skills
- Any working interest in Public Cloud platforms
