Our Data team is rapidly growing with a number of high profile transformation projects that we are kick starting in our Melbourne regions. A newly created role for an experienced
Data Analyst has opened up where you will help deliver scalable, automated, repeatable ‘big data’ and analytic patterns within the AWS stack.
Versent Data Analysts understand both data pipeline development, operations and management as well as delivery of automated data solutions that are ready for production operations as we are recognised as Snowflake and Data Bricks partner. Requirements:
- Experience in analysing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
- Evaluating existing data systems.
- Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
- Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
- Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
- Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
- Updating and optimising local and metadata models.
- Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and optimising data systems.
- Experience in delivering Kimball or DV2.0 based data warehouses and data platforms for medium to large enterprises
- Experience with tools such as Alation and / or Collibra
- Experience driving requirements and modelling workshops
- Implementing AWS, Azure and Snowflake solutions
- Applying data quality and governance frameworks for Data warehouse environments
