A day in the life:
The General Manager PEXA Insights Solutions (GMPXIS) role will ensure creation of customer solutions based on PEXA’S own data, supplemented by third data party as required.
A typical day will see the GMPXIS engaged in meeting with peers and other PEXA colleagues and partners to ideate potential solutions, managing products and solutions through to completion, developing marketing approaches for completed products and solutions and engaging in sales processes.
Included in that day will be work with regulatory affairs colleagues on ensuring that appropriate regulatory approvals are in place. The incumbent will also be working with PXI peers on developing and implementing the strategy for PXI, and leading, growing and developing their team.Key Accountabilities:- Develop an effective segmentation of the land-market by customer and use type to guide evolution of PEXA Insight’s offering
- Ideation of a pipeline of potential solutions for key segments using PEXA / third party data/acquired products, driven by connection with market participants, partners and colleagues from across PEXA
- Ensure that the development of those ideas through the pipeline to customer-ready solutions proceeds at pace
- Determine an effective go-to-market strategy for completed solutions
- Work with colleagues in Regulatory Affairs to obtain the appropriate approvals for those solutions
- Drive rapid profitable sales growth of completed solutions
- Grow and develop a high quality, high engagement team that can give effect to the GMPXIS’ responsibilities
- Input to strategy development for PXI, and assisting with execution of same, including participation in PXI’s corporate development agenda
- Integrating acquired products and capabilities into the PXI solution set and offering
- Assisting with managing other external stakeholder relationships, including with partners and industry bodies
Skills and Experience:- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as Commerce, Computer Science or Data Science preferred
- Relevant senior-level fast pace product management and sales management roles in B2B focused technology companies
- Preferable to have experience in the land information market
