#LI-RemoteWhat You'll Be Doing:
  • Serve as lead counsel on transactional matters, including complex strategic transactions
  • Support corporate governance
  • Hold a seat at the table as a trusted, proactive business partner to senior managers and leadership at all levels
  • Negotiate terms for client agreements, partnership agreements, confidentiality agreements, statements of work, vendor agreements, data security agreements, requests for proposals (RFPs) and other documents
  • Work cross-functionally and provide legal guidance to various internal functions in the business including new opportunities and product lines
  • Advise business partners on a range of legal issues and risks, including privacy, data use, and information security
  • Review product offerings, programs, and initiatives to spot legal issues and advise business partners on a variety of laws, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts to appropriately manage risk and compliance with policies, laws, rules, and regulations
  • Improve legal forms, processes, and procedures
What You'll Need:
  • 6+ years of experience with corporate transactional law as a law firm corporate associate or in-house corporate lawyer
  • Bachelor and law degrees
  • Bar admission in good standing (California preferred)
  • Big Law experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with startups and/or healthcare companies is a benefit
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen and excellent judgment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to independently prioritize and manage workload, manage simultaneous tasks, and meet deadlines within a changing fast-paced environment
  • All-around team player who is a self-motivated, fast learner
