About the roleCentral to our goal and ambitions is our Analytics and Data Science function, who build the models that underpin our products, provide the insights that shape our plans, and run the experiments that move our business forward.
We're looking for somebody with an analytical mind and a passion for thinking outside the box to solve real world problems at Zip. As a Data Scientist in our Risk team, you will be responsible for development and regular maintenance of collection and account management strategies for Consumer portfolios. You'll work closely with different stakeholders across the business to drive real, meaningful change for Zip and our customers. You will
- Be the go-to person for Zip Money credit increase strategy
- Develop and maintain account management scorecards (collections models, behavioral scorecards etc.)
- Create Tableau dashboards for better visibility of processes and performance
- Optimize collection treatment automation
- Conduct ongoing reviews of repayment processing
- Review collection campaigns and provide valuable insights to senior stakeholders
Your skills
- 5+ years’ experience in data science (ideally within credit risk portfolios)
- A proactive mindset to identify issues early and make improvements in our risk strategy
- Excellent understanding of how data and analytics can be used to drive optimal credit decisioning
- Experience in risk analytics or credit risk modelling along with ML models
- Previous experience of running campaigns and conducting post campaign analysis
- Experience with data visualisation (we use Tableau but Power BI is also fine)
- Experience in SQL, Python, and Spark
