This newly created role will be integral in enabling work across the Australia and Pacific regions, ensuring that NZ businesses are informed and can capitalise on project opportunities within theinfrastructuresector.What you will be doing:TewhakamahereWeare looking for an ambitious and connectedsupply chain/tendering or business developmentexpert to help New Zealand businesses navigate the tendering process for manufacturing and infrastructure sectors in the Australia and Pacific regions.?This will be a combination of publiclyavailableopportunities, and off market or private projects.In this role you willuse yourinvestigationskills toprospecthigh quality informationontargeted infrastructureand Aidprojects togeneratebusiness development opportunitiesthatNew Zealand companiescan capitalise on.You will have a strongunderstandingofsupply chainin largeinfrastructureprojects,andwherevaluablebusiness can be sourcedfor exporters.Well-connected in the sector, you will havea strong senseof what a successful plan for winning business in these industriesand whattype ofexporterwill be able to win these contracts. This role will tap into your valuable experience and knowledge ofbusiness development,procurement, tenderingand supply chainprocesses toidentifyprojects andmatchNew Zealand companieswith suitable opportunities.?ProjectLinkis different to other tender notification services as it works closely with customers toprovidehighly tailored supportfromthe qualifiedleads thatare generated.?You will use the internal and external systems tomonitorinfrastructure projects, keeping our data current and passing information on project procurement to New Zealand companiesoperatingin the sector.You’llbe an expert at researching and evaluating early-stage projects forProjectLinkexportbusinesses.?What you will need to be successful: OPukengaYou’llbe someone with solidbusinessdevelopmentand supply chainexperience, ideally in the infrastructureand/or Aidsector with strong knowledge oftendering. A commercially savvy?businesssourcingexpert with strong investigative skills, you will be able to draw from your network of infrastructure contacts relevant information relating to project status. Using superior communicationand relationship buildingskills, you will be able todraw out andarticulate this information in a way that makes sense to New Zealand businesses.
