Our People are notPerfect, Traditional, Complacent or Cautious What the day to day role of a Content Specialist/Writer looks like:
  • End-to-end management and production of insurance-related content that is presented to throughout the customer journey, from frontend copy to the claims experience (of course, we do all that very differently to the insurance industry!)
  • Writing simple, easy to read, customer-friendly and compliant policy documents
  • Working closely with the insurance product team to get appropriate compliance sign offs on content relating to insurance products and work with the Compliance Manager to maintain approval logs as required by insurance contracts
  • Championing user-centred design within everything you write
  • Acting as the conduit between the product team and insurance team for the end-to-end management of content amp; translations that are presented throughout the customer journey
  • Ensure online content complies with corporate and site-specific brand standards, UX writing guidelines, web style guide, legal and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with customer and product teams on the development of style guides, best practices and processes.
  • Work closely with customer support teams to understand how our customers consume content
  • Utilising usability best practice and agile methodology within your team
  • Assist in writing product releases/communications for upcoming products so that our customers and internal team understand the values of these releases.
Ideal candidate profile, looks something like this:
  • University degree in Communications, Humanities or Journalism
  • 3 years experience creating and managing content
  • Experience at an insurtech/fintech business would be highly valued
  • Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Passion for user-centred design
  • Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills. You’re a team player
  • Extensive experience planning for and developing useful, usable content including instructional text, error and confirmation messages, taxonomy and nomenclature
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to take initiative on projects to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HTML and Google Analytics is a bonus
  • Multilingual ability is highly regarded, but most importantly, your English communication skills will be extremely polished
