About the Role
The Supply team is the lifeblood of the business, working with dozens of partners around the world to provide users best-in-class pricing. We then pass on those savings to our millions of users. As an Account Manager (e-commerce) at Snapcommerce, you will have full ownership over a portfolio of accounts, working with new and existing partners to grow their share of business with Snapcommerce and optimize everyone’s success. Reporting into our Director of Supply Partnerships, you will use data-driven insights and stellar communication skills to onboard new accounts, maximize account success, conduct regular business reviews, and aggressively grow key metrics across your account base.Key Responsibilities and Traits
  • Build and Maintain Partner Relationships: you will oversee all regular communication to ensure progress on joint initiatives, owning full-cycle partner relationships and with responsibility for outcomes. This includes but is not limited to: helping negotiating commercials, onboarding partners, conducting regular business reviews, leveraging data to secure new deals, and levelling up the product.
  • Prioritize and Sell Effectively: you will be responsible for a plethora of accounts and thus should have the ability to effectively prioritize what matters based on company objectives and OKRs. Though not technically a sales role, the account manager role does overlap with some sales skill-sets. As such, you should have a strong sense of judgment, be solutions oriented, be able to work cross functionally and have the ability to build presentations that drive desired actions. You will have organizational support and BI tooling to help as you make your case.
  • Improve Partner Performance: you will optimize your portfolio of accounts through iterative testing and experimentation to help the account and Snapcommerce grow. This includes managing and reviewing partner technical performance (including error rate, feed optimization and up-time) and understanding the opportunities / tweaking variables to test for improvements. You’ll be driving towards the most competitive product offering in terms of breadth and depth while setting customers up with amazing deals along the way!
  • Collaborative Execution: you will work with the account management team to execute on group priorities and ensure you’re supporting broader business goals. You’ll lean in alongside other teams including growth, marketing, and operations to ensure we’re working on the most effective projects.
  • Use Data to Tell a Story: you will use BI tooling as well as technical knowledge to pull data, identify trends and correlations, and present your findings in a compelling, persuasive way. Synthesizing and presenting findings will be key.
About You
  • You have previous experience in an account management role; a background in B2B wholesale and/or e-commerce industries is an asset.
  • You are a deal hunter who can build long-lasting relationships with our business partners as they invest in growth with Snapcommerce.
  • You have a growth mindset and are able to sell and position yourself and the company as needed to accomplish objectives. Communication skills are key!
  • You are a strong judge of character, quick on your feet, and a relentless problem solver.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to establish relationships from IC to C-Suite across your accounts; multilingualism is an asset.
  • You have the ability to make quality decisions, using data and your judgment skills to enhance decision making.
  • You have an outstanding technical aptitude and can quickly learn the ins and outs of our technical platforms to optimize supplier performance. SQL knowledge is an asset.
