A day in the life:
In this 12 month contract, you will be working with the GM Sourcing and Partnerships to support the development of sourcing and supplier management practices across PEXA. Develop and deliver category amp; sourcing strategies for the supply of goods amp; services that deliver a total cost of ownership reductions and value creation opportunities across PEXA.You will bring sourcing experience and expertise across all domains to ensure material commercial suppliers of goods and services to PEXA, align with the business, deliver real on-going value, and continue to meet the needs of the business.You will actively engage and collaborate with stakeholders within PEXA’s to ensure all category strategies are agreed, supported and aligned with PEXA’s strategic plan.On day one we'd love you to have:- Extensive industry experience in procurement roles including 10+ years previous procurement experience
- 5+ years in a Technology, FMCG or similar industry across a diversified portfolio of direct and/or indirect spend categories
- Proven ability in establishing, implementing and driving category plans and sourcing strategies
- Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking
- Proven ability in working with diverse stakeholders and successful processes for effective communication and issue management
- Experience in managing and driving projects to achieve commercial results.
- Knowledge of supply chain and/or financial systems driving procurement activities
- Deep knowledge and understanding of TCO principles and financial feasibility of projects/capital investment
- High level of commercial acumen amp; strong negotiation skills
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and planning skills
- Change Management and Continuous Improvement experience
- Collaborate and influence cross functional teams, leading teams through the procurement processes and key supplier negotiations.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and an everchanging landscape akin to a start-up environment.
