ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a SEM Specialist to drive the strategy and execution of paid media campaigns across our entire product portfolio, running global campaigns on multiple platforms.

What makes this role different is we want someone to come in and experiment, try different things and think outside of the box. You will be given the opportunity to be creative in the campaigns you run with full support from our design and development teams with Pamp;L responsibility for campaigns worth millions

You’ll be accountable for the delivery of Paid Search, but will also have input and influence across SEO, working in collaboration with our SEO Manager across our sportsbook and casino.

Based in our Melbourne office you will become part of a highly skilled and dedicated Marketing and Development team. Working on multiple markets around the world (Canada, Mexico, Japan and we are opening in other countries all the time), you’ll be involved in catering to various user groups in the broad field of sports betting and gaming

MAIN DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your day to day responsibility will be:

  • Complete P/L reporting responsibility for SEM accounts for the business.
  • You’ll also oversee the end-to-end digital campaigns from strategy to execution and optimisation working closely with the wider marketing team to align to global campaigns and activations.
  • You will critique or defend briefs as necessary and provide insight and ideas in relation to strategy.
  • Performing daily account management on Google, Bing, Facebook and other search platforms across our product verticals (Casino and Sportsbook)
  • Undertaking maintenance and monitoring of keyword bids, account budget caps, impression share, quality score and another important account metrics including, bid management to ensure bids are successfully made to achieve optimum placing of our products online
  • Managing and maintaining updates for large keyword lists and undertaking ad copy A/B testing suggestion and execution
  • Making recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting and other facets of paid search
  • Writing strong and effective ads for maximum CTR and conversion
  • CRO, A/B testing ad copy, landing pages amp; other account areas
  • Performing in depth SEM amp; commercial analysis at times to optimise performance



Requirements

You will have (Essential skills):

  • You should be experienced in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC)
  • You’ll need excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills with the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere. You should have excellent numerical skills, attention to detail and advanced Excel skills.
  • You will have experience with ad cloaking or redirecting traffic through new landing pages
  • Experienced in optimising campaigns to a target CPA and volume
  • Understanding of audience targeting and how to use it effectively
  • Strong commercial acumen, highly numerate and analytical with a passion for analysis and the ability to turn the data into actions. You like reports and numbers but only when they help you to achieve your goals
  • You will be expected to deal with various stakeholders across the business and manage expectations for the delivery of assets required.
  • Wider appreciation and knowledge of full-funnel Marketing and the role Search plays in the Media mix.
