What you'll be doing
In 2017, Catch launched the Marketplace platform. Marketplace allows our valued Catch customers to discover a huge range of brands, awesome technologies, outdoor products and everything else under the sun. Whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it on Marketplace.
We are looking for an Optimisation Lead to join the Marketplace Operations team based in Bentleigh East. You’ll be primarily responsible for ensuring Catch’s Marketplace range is accurately described and Marketplace listings are optimised to provide the best outcomes for sellers. You’ll identify and remedy gaps within the current listing and product approval process, decreasing the turnaround time for submission review. This role is essential for making Marketplace a safe, trusted platform for sellers and customers.
What does a normal day in the life of an Optimisation Lead at Catch look like?
Well no two days at Catch are alike, but you could probably expect your typical day to include some of the following things:
- Plan and execute high impact projects to ensure that the offer on Marketplace are presented in a compliant, visually appealing manner to maximise sales
- Coordinate the Product Approval process and communicate changes to the Marketplace Team
- Be the point of contact for seller queries in regards to their product catalog and approvals
- Assist in the testing of new Product Catalog improvements, features and systems
- Build processes that flag potential listing irregularities, errors and creates safeguards to prevent issues from recurring in the future
- Assist in the optimisation and technological project work to improve the approval process
- Report on quality checks and provides outcomes/recommendations to the wider team
- Keep abreast of Australian compliance standards and potential effects on product listings
Requirements
- 2 - 3 years experience in e-commerce, retail and/or FMCG is highly desirable
- Able to analyse data to drive operational projects and continuous improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exposure to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s laws and regulations is favourable
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly Excel
- Strong data analytic skills
- High aptitude for problem solving and attention to detail
