Catch is embarking on an exciting journey of growth, as our business grows so does our team. We are seeking a Facilities amp; Maintenance Coordinatorto join our state of the art Fulfilment Centre based in Moorebank. This is where the magic happens! The Fulfilment Centre strives to provide a high level of customer service and get orders out in a timely manner to our loyal Catch customers.
Based in our new cutting-edge facility in Moorebank, you will be directly responsible for maintaining general maintenance; day-to-day contractor management; co-ordinating trades and services on site; maintaining service scheduling both preventive and reactive; and maintaining and updating facilities maintenance schedules and matrix including CMMS.
What you’ll be doing
What does a normal day in the life of a Facilities amp; Maintenance Coordinator look like?
Well, no two days are alike at Catch, but you could probably expect your typical day to include some of the following things:
- Maintain general maintenance and housekeeping
- Day-to-day contractor management
- Co-ordinate trades and services on site, ensure all induction, permits and appropriate accreditation and agreed service and contract standards
- Maintain service scheduling both preventive and reactive - ensure all details are accurate and correct and in line with budget
- Ensure all spare parts are maintained and sourcing parts as required
- Maintain and update facilities maintenance schedules and matrix including CMMS
- Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and guidelines
- Assist in reducing down-time on equipment, priority communications
- Comply to all site/network specific regulations and requirements Environmental compliance, Dangerous Goods and Hazardous substance, Maintenance
- Conduct spot checks on equipment
- Participate in identified training opportunities
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement
- Adherence to all OHamp;S requirements policies and procedures
- Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Manages facilities to achieve and improve upon agreed service levels
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with MEX Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a Fulfilment Centre or DC setting.
- Relevant qualification in Logistics or a related discipline
- Knowledge of external and internal workings of the DC i.e. the building and the fixed assets
- Experience in warehousing maintenance
- Sound understanding of contractor management
- Strong safety focus
- Decision making ability based on operational needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven team player and autonomous operator
