We’re reshaping pet food an antiquated industry, and we're looking for a talented and passionate Vet Nurse to join us in our mission.

We deliver fresh, human-grade meals, as a subscription service to dogs all over Australia. All of our nourishing dog food recipes have been formulated by our own in-house vet and our pack is already thriving from our food.

The Role

The Vet Nurse - Customer Care role is a key hire within our small team and you will be joining the business at a pivotal moment as we look to scale our customer base and take our business to new heights.

This is a Full-Time position based in Sydney in our dog-friendly office. Please note you must have full Australian working rights to be considered.


Responsibilities

  • Using your veterinary knowledge to be the first point of contact to our customers, advising them on a variety of nutritional as well as general enquiries
  • Problem solving and responding to technical and challenging nutritional and diet-related customer concerns
  • Delivering top-notch interactions with customers across all communication channels such as calls, email, chat and social media, in alignment with Lyka’s brand mission and values
  • Growing long-term relationships with customers and build promoters who are not only customers but raving fans, by consistently exceeding their expectations
  • Working with Lyka’s kitchen team to ensure all customer orders and requests are prepared and delivered
  • Monitoring customer deliveries and responding as required to ensure smooth delivery experiences
  • Assisting in developing Lyka’s Customer Care foundation and Nutritional Content by building an extensive nutritional and food-related knowledge base

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in Veterinary Nursing
  • An interest in, and passion for natural feeding
  • Experience in a customer service role (as a bonus)
  • A helpful and positive outlook, and always looking to go above and beyond for customers
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to liaise directly with customers and escalate critical issues where appropriate
  • Strong listening skills
  • Strong grammar and written English
  • A team player who's able to thrive in a small but quickly growing team
  • Organised with high attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage ever-changing demands
  • Resilient, high sense of ownership and comfortable with fast pace and ambiguity
  • Must love dogs!
