Summary of Responsibilities:Customer service oriented Accounts Payable professional who will focus on building relationships with our vast vendor base and supporting the Accounts Payable and broader Home Chef operational teams.

- Reconcile processed work by verifying entriesDisburse invoices for approval and follow up on approvals
- Research and resolve vendor discrepancies based on three-way match
- Enter invoices into our accounting software
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and statements
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling statements and related transactions
- Build relationships among cross functional Home Chef teams
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, ability and/or other characteristics needed for this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.- 3+ years Accounts Payable experience required
- Strong time-management skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, thoroughness, highly organized, and ability to manage a high volume of paperwork efficiently
- Knowledge of full cycle Accounts Payable process
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel, and Netsuite
- Experience with vendor reconciliations and month end closeFood industry experience a plus
- 4- year degree
