What does it take to become a Civican?
Coming with great internal amp; external stakeholders management abilities, you’re able to ensure decisions can impact the success of assigned work.
You’ll be comfortable in managing the Group PMO function responsible for operating PMO processes such as, bid governance and assurance, delivery assurance, compliance and quality, planning and estimating etc.
Ensuring the team are adequately trained is key and you’ll be a main driver in this area.
Finally, you can contribute to strategic initiatives to enhance and grow the PMO capability across the Group while also supporting projects and programmes in the region utilising the support of Group PMO resource or establishing their own PMO capability.

Ideally you will possess: -
- Proven experience in a similar role working across complex programmes
- Sound understanding and experience of professional PMO services
- P3O Practitioner or Prince 2 certified
- Willingness to travel, work away from home, including overseas
- Proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- People Development skills
- Experience providing PMO services as follows: delivery assurance, compliance and quality, planning and estimating, information management and support, monitoring, reviewing and reporting, risk and issue (RAID) management, change management, engagement, on boarding amp; resource management
A day in the life
The Group Head of AANZ PMO will be responsible for manage a growing team of PMO Managers, Senior PMO Analysts amp; PMO Analysts, ensuring the team are adequately trained to facilitate placement into local PMOs as part of the career path for PMO resources within Civica.
Reporting directly to the Group PPM Director based in the UK you would be involved in execution of the wider PPM strategy for the benefit of the whole Group. Commercially astute, you will have a solid understanding of programme governance as well as the ability to analyse complex delivery plans.
