Job Description
Due to AMAZING GROWTH Catch is looking for a Merchandise Coordinator to join our Merchandise team based at Catch Head Office in Bentleigh East. Reporting to the Merchandising Lead, your focus is to ensure Catch customers are provided with the best possible website shopping experience, with well-presented products and accurate information.
You’ll be responsible for the supply and promotion of products across Catch and oversee different categories of website products and help coordinate inventory and marketing campaigns. Utilising your passion and enthusiasm for retail, you’ll coordinate which merchandise needs a marketing campaign and what is a top seller.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating daily visual merchandising in line with brand guidelines for the Catch website including digital marketing campaigns and ad-hoc requests as they arise.
- You’ll be a whizz with numbers and able to analyse products both quantitatively and qualitatively.
- You’ll be heavily involved in performance tracking and ad-hoc tasks to ensure customer service excellence.
- Support the Merchandise team on data analysis to drive in-season business and inform product strategies including weekly reporting and ad-hoc research.
- Help to identify product opportunities and trends though targeted customer and competitor research.
- Attend and speak in cross-functional meetings representing the needs of your team.
Requirements
- Experience working within a retail organisation this can be online, digital or instore. Previous eCommerce experience will be highly regarded.
- Experience monitoring and allocating products and understanding promotional material, ideally being involved in the creative aspects of promotions.
- The ability to review reports and analyse data and be able to articulate findings back to the business.
- An understanding of the merchandising lifecycle and coordinating merchandise events, working with the buying team around stock levels and working with design teams for promotion activity.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written you’ll be interacting with Senior Managers, the Marketplace and Design Team.
- Knowledge of the program Tableau is advantageous.
- Enthusiasm and passion for retail.
