Job Description

Catch is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding occurring virtually due to COVID-19. All new Catch members, along with our current employees, are temporarily working remotely from home until it is safe to return to our offices.

Here at Catch we are embarking on an exciting period of growth, as our business grows so does our team, we are seeking a People amp; Culture Advisor to help us achieve our ambitious goals. We view the world through the eyes of our customers, and we do the right thing for our customers even when it is inconvenient. This role will be critical in helping us live our customer obsession by supporting our Fulfilment Centre team who are the engine room of providing a great customer experience.

Reporting to the Senior People amp; Culture Business Partner (Fulfilment Centre), you will be based in our Truganina Fulfilment Centre. As a Pamp;C Advisor you will contribute to the success of Catch through strong partnering with managers to advise them of people initiatives, policies, practices and executing on our people strategy.

  • Proactively partner with managers to create an amazing employee experience for our Fulfilment Centre team members.
  • Provide advice to leaders on team matters including IR/ER, policy, legislation and people issues.
  • Partner with the business to ensure the growth of people leaders, with a focus on performance, development and coaching.
  • Own the cyclical Pamp;C activities for the FC collaborating with leaders to educate, coach and deliver on requirements.
  • Contribute to the action planning and implementation of strategies to embed Catch’s values based culture to engage and inspire the team
  • Manage organisational change effectively, ensuring all business changes are well considered, carefully planned and effectively implemented

Requirements

The skills required that we’re looking for

  • Demonstrable operational HR Generalist experience. Must have had solid experience working in warehouse/distribution centre environments.
  • Solid IR/ER experience, having worked with EBA’s and Awards
  • A real self starter, who brings a growth mindset, who loves to make their mark, to set up processes and practices from scratch and able to roll up the sleeves to get things done
  • An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Resilient, and solutions oriented; able to deliver impactful advice to leaders iindividually and in group settings
  • Comfortable delivering workshops and engagement sessions
  • An ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Comfortable working autonomously but a strong team player, who collaborates and shares willingly and generously.
