Based in Margaret River, Western Australia and reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Production Lead ensures that our markets are supplied with great quality wine produced to Cape Mentelle’ standards.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Operate mechanical or automated packaging and wine processing equipment and monitor machine operations; Proceed with the setting up, changing over and running of the lines according to the schedule; Provide leadership and ensure compliance with Health amp; Safety, Quality and Environment Management System policies and procedures; Supervise the team of labour hire workers and support them with training and guidance; Monitor dry goods and their traceability while running production line; Monitor wastage and ensure continuous improvement of production processes, plant efficiency and reliability; Requirements
In order to be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience working in a production line environment and with industrial equipment; Good mechanical aptitude; Good organizational amp; interaction skills Ability to think on your feet Ability to both work in a team and also work autonomously A sense of urgency amp; commitment to detail amp; quality Strong customer focus, leadership skills as well as supervisory experience; Excellent communication skills and a drive for results;
