Due to an internal transfer, we are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our Professional Services team and work on a range of exciting new customers and projects.

blueAPACHE is a highly successful Managed Services Provider, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Working within our Professional Services Division, your main focus will be to deliver infrastructure projects for our growing client base . The work is interesting and varied, undertaking IT infrastructure projects across a broad technology set.

Within your domain of technical expertise you will provide the following services:

• Technical review, implementation amp; upgrades of new amp; existing customers systems.
• Technical resource for project delivery.
• Technical resource for priority customer service.
• Input to Capacity, Change and Risk management

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced Systems Engineer, with a background in end to end project work. Any experience working with a system integrator/managed services provider is highly regarded. Project focused/experienced applicants from enterprise level environments will also be closely considered.

Required Skills

• Need to have done infrastructure design through to implementation.
• Strong skills with MS Wintel products (MS Exchange, Office 365, Windows Server)
• Experience conducting infrastructure migrations (e.g. Office 365 upgrades; Network implementation)
• Solid and practical experience in MS Active Directory
• Networking (Cisco, HP), switching, routing and firewalls
• Citrix
• Azure
• VMware
• Strong experience with pre-sales and documentation in preparation for handovers

This position is primarily located at our Abbotsford, Melbourne office however you may be required to travel within metropolitan Melbourne from time to time.

You will ideally have a current Microsoft Technical Certifications such as MCSE Server Infrastructure / Messaging, Citrix CCA (or higher) and/or proven significant industry experience.

• You will be results orientated and have strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• You will be a motivated self-starter able to work either in a team environment or on your own.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
