About the role:

  • Part Time, Maximum Term Contact until 30 June 2023
  • CSS Level 2 from $57,960 $63,239 (pro rata) dependent on skills and experience
  • Based at Darwin

The Operational Support Officer will contribute to the delivery of high-quality services provided to consumers by ensuring that staff and service users of the Darwin Head to Health receive administrative support that is flexible and responsive to their needs.

You will be responsible for carrying out daily operational support tasks which may include:

  • Ordering stationery and office supplies
  • Consumer database data entry
  • Processing invoices
  • Coordinating site maintenance
  • Maintaining filing and archiving systems
  • Coordinating meeting room, venue and catering bookings
  • Assisting operational support audit and compliance processes
  • Orienting new site staff to administrative systems
  • Providing basic IT help desk support for service site colleagues
  • Additional duties as required, depending on site needs

What will you bring to the role?

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent administration skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including email and internet) and proven experience working in a computerised environment
  • Great customer service skills
  • The ability to plan, organise and analyse tasks
  • Sound written and verbal communications skills
  • The necessary skills to build relationships with team members
  • Proven experience in being able to cope with change and adapt to ambiguous situations
