Job Description

One of our growing and evolving offices is looking for a vibrant Business Support Manager (Team Leader) to support the property management and sales team on a full-time basis.


This role provides intensive backing to an energetic group of salespeople, property managers and support staff working in conjunction with the local office Director. You will be the first point of escalation for day-to-day operations within the team and will be a skilled administrator yourself to fill gaps and provide support to the admin team when peak periods arise. You will be a go-getter looking to push boundaries and accelerate the office to new levels.


You will contribute greatly to the betterment of the overall operation through process and business improvement, innovation and community and team engagement. Your finger will be on the pulse of the needs of the office and be able to take it to a modern and progressive environment, epitomising the Place band.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing, processing and managing forms relative to the listing and sale of properties and being able to support others in developing these skills;
  • Preparing and processing marketing quotes and communicating with agents and clients on expected timelines;
  • Assisting with the operational side of the business planning for future growth and project managing plans to completion;
  • Reviewing the office budgets, following the heartbeat of the operation. Identify, recommend and implement business improvement;
  • Leveraging the skills and experience within our professional services division to minimise time spent on repetitive tasks;
  • Problem solving alongside the team to ensure client satisfaction and expectations are met whilst educating up to the business owner (need-to-know scenarios);
  • Managing new employee onboarding into the business in conjunction with the HQ team;
  • Organising team meetings and office functions to develop morale; and
  • Managing people related matters in conjunction with the office Director.


This role reports to the Office Director and will meet frequently with the Director of Property Management to ensure overall office goals are met.

Requirements

Placing the right candidate is important to us. A successful candidate will bring to the table;

  • Ideally 3-5 years in the industry working within a high functioning team (alternatively extensive management experience within a corporate setting);
  • A current real estate certificate and valid drivers’ license to be able to step in wherever needed;
  • Experience in REX amp; CampaignTrack (highly regarded);
  • An approachable persona and a can-do attitude towards solving problems and overcoming challenges;
  • Proven experience working with commission calculations and accounts within a real estate business;
  • A mature approach with strong business acumen; and
  • Strong time management and delegation skills to ensure the business is always moving forward.
