About the role
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join us. As a member of the technical support team, you’ll interact directly with clients and other members of the Datacom teams to support technology-based solutions. You’ll be responsible for the support of server infrastructure, within contracted time frames and services level agreements. This support will involve remote assistance over the phone and ad-hoc onsite visits when required and participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support.
This role requires Australian Citizenship preferably with baseline/NV1 Clearance - candidates without citizenship need not apply.

As the Systems Engineer this is an excellent technical opportunity, joining a fantastic team of peers with opportunity to take your career to new heights! You will be part of our extensive Operations business who support each other working collaboratively across locations. You’ll be providing technical maintenance, support services within agreed service levels along with maintaining technical documentation. You will also be using tools and processes to deliver services to customers to ensure their service level agreements are met, proactively managing their infrastructure and driving service process improvement.
What you’ll bring
To be successful in this role you’ll bring at least 5 years experience as a System Administrator with Windows Server technologies.
Your technical experience should include:
- Azure and Microsoft 365 Suite
- Microsoft Server Operating Systems functions: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, ADFS, DHCP, DFS, Failover Clustering, Powershell scripting.
- Microsoft Messaging Systems: Exchange Online
- System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Hands on experience in the Operational Infrastructure such as: VMware vSphere Virtualisation, Dell / EMC Storage and backup recovery technologies (Veeam and CommVault)
- Enterprise Antivirus Products: McAfee and Defender for End Point/O365
- Citrix, RDS and WVD
- Systems Monitoring Tools
