As we move to continuously elevate our culture, talent and team experience globally, Eco Outdoor is searching for an experienced and highly engaging HR and Talent Acquisition Manager. This role will support with a wide range of HR and people focused initiatives, from sourcing and recruiting the best talent to join Eco Outdoor, managing day to day HR processes, through to development and organisation of onboarding and training programs, to roll out globally.

We are looking for a people person. A driven, engaging, bright individual to join our team, who is eager to grow and move things forward. This is more than an HR role. This role will support across three main pillars of People, Culture and Learning. You will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources with strong organisational capability, a keen interest and ideas on what contributes to great culture and a vision to what constitutes effective and compelling learning. Finally you relish the challenge of sourcing, acquiring and retaining top talent for Eco Outdoor. Whilst you will work closely with others across the business, you will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of projects and operations. Ultimately, you are here to grow and to help Eco Outdoor grow in the best way possible.

Responsibilities

People

  • You love people first and foremost, and you relish in building strong, trusting relationships with the team around you
  • You will be an integral member of Eco Outdoor and the go-to contact for our team, for all HR and people related queries
  • You will be the first touch point for our new starters and support them with their journey from first interview, through to first day, onboarding and beyond
  • You will seek out and acquire top talent to come and join our Eco Outdoor team, using a variety of recruitment tools and digital platforms
  • You are organised and meticulous attention to detail is a towering strength. Maintaining records of personnel-related materials (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) to ensure all employment requirements are met
  • You have a good understanding of HR and workplace policy, procedure and compliance requirements
  • You will work collaboratively across all departments and functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
  • You will assist the leadership team with implementing the structure for delivery of performance reviews for the team
  • Assist with delivery and organisation of any performance management conversations. Trust and confidentiality are paramount

Culture

  • This role will help mesh the team together across markets and reinforce a great culture. Ideation, implementation and delivery of initiatives focused on team connectedness and engagement will excite you
  • You will be working closely with our Hospitality and Office manager to create an engaging and best in class working environment.
  • Strong communication is essential, in order to cement HR and Talent alignment across markets
  • You will help develop a strong bench of talent to come and join Eco Outdoor.
  • Through talent planning and mapping, you will create a bench of team ready to progress internally, in conjunction with the respective leadership
  • Presentation skills will be important, in order to deliver culture and values-based training, on boarding

Learning

  • You will help foster a culture of continuous learning and help develop, evolve and deliver new learning structures in conjunction with the GM of People, Culture and Learning
  • Support the development and delivery of a thorough, structured and well thought out onboarding program for new team members
  • Support in growing and retaining top talent through creation and evolution of learning programs and platforms.
  • In conjunction with the leadership team, you will help guide development pathways and structures for teams, to foster an environment of continuous development and growth

Requirements

  • Proven experience as in HR and Talent Acquisition or relevant human resources/administrative function
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies and best practice
