Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospital sales representative looking to make their mark on a high performing territory. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Driving sales strategies, tactics and promoting products to Specialists, Nurses and Hospitals across your WA territory
- Working with a Key Account Management framework
- Presenting clinical papers and device training to specialists and associated hospital teams
- Transactional selling to private clinics for a range of products
Ideal Candidate:
- Successful sales track record in specialist sales within pharmaceutical/devices, particularly Gastroenterology
- Results orientated and highly driven individual to work autonomously and engages well with peers
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset and ability, with Key Account Management experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with impact and influence
- Experience and competency in utilising a variety of virtual selling e-platforms (VEEVA, KADRIGE, Microsoft Teams, Zoom etc)
- Highly organised, self-starter and solutions oriented
- Willingness to learn and a can-do attitude
- Agile approach with ability to deal with change quickly to a wide range of situations and functions
- Technically competent with full MS Office package, Outlook, CRM systems etc
Qualifications amp; Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Life Sciences, Nursing, Paramedical or business field is preferred
- Successful hospital sales experience strongly preferred
- Hospital/Specialist Territory management experience will be highly regarded
- Experience in gaining Hospital Formularies would be an advantage.
- Current and valid driver’s licence
- Medicines Australia CEP and/or Medical Technology Association of Australia accreditation
- Ability to travel, including regional travel 6-8 times per year, occasional weekend and evening work
