About the Role
In this exciting role, we are looking for a seasoned VMware Cloud Architect. You will be responsible for leading the architectural design, development through to implementation of The Missing Link's Cloud platform and its relevant offerings, with particular focus on the private IaaS platform.
This is a great opportunity to be the product owner of the laaS platform. Post implementation, the role will evolve and you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the platform, product development, review the needs of the clients and company and design and build a cloud solution to ensure the new solution meets expectations, goals and adds value.
The role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne, flexible working is supported
Requirements
- Providing leadership, designing solutions, ensure quality outcomes and overseeing the development of IaaS offerings
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other architects and technical SMEs
- Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernisation roadmap.
- Successfully assess, design, and implement an IaaS platform based on VMware.
- Establish a fully scalable, operational, and future proof IaaS platform.
Skills amp; Experience
- Experience with Cloud Architectures VMware Cloud Director
- Strong knowledge and experience in designing and building end to end cloud architecture environment.
- Proven experience with Disaster Recovery and Backup solutions for VMware vCloud Director based cloud provider service.
- Proven experience with designing and managing multi-tenanted cloud solutions based on VMware NSX-T amp; vSAN
- Ability to design and implement On-Prem and Cloud Networking Concepts
- V Nets, Subnets, Routing, Firewalls, Datacentre
- Cloud Compute, Storage, and virtualisation best practice
Qualifications
- VMware Cloud specialist
- VCDX CMA/DCV (ideal)
- VCAP CMA/DCV (ideal)
