About the role

As part of the People and Culture team, you will partner with extraordinary talent that is passionate and courageous about supporting our people to meet and exceed their potential.

You will play a critical role in Datacom through improving and embedding a group wide performance and career programme. Ensuring a consistent step towards a high performing culture. You will guide the Group on this exciting path leveraging your deep expertise, knowledge and experience of performance and future goals. Driving excellence while adapting the programme to suit the ever changing landscape of the business.

What you'll do

  • Embedding a culture of clear goal setting, one and ones, engaging and meaningful feedback.
  • Developing a structure to assist active movement of talent across our business areas ensuring we inspire and retain our people.
  • Implement systems ensuring we are utilising technology to derive insights that support our performance strategy and approach to align to the Group’s business goals.
  • Manage the ongoing performance management process ensuring that all levels are informed, trained and coached on every aspect of the process.
  • Collaborate with other People and Culture teams, as well as the business to assist the development of career pathways for key technical and leadership talent career ladders.

What you'll bring

  • You are a positive, self-starter who is experienced and confident in managing a variety of projects and processes
  • High customer engagement attributes to reach and work with a diverse range of stakeholders. Building relationships at great strides.
  • High focus on user experience.
  • Constantly driving for consistency, focusing on impact and measurable results.
  • A critical thinker when identifying problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Tertiary degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in developing and improving performance strategies.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in similar level role.
  • Experience developing core competencies and manage a competency based performance process

The successful candidate will also have a hands on, roll up your sleeves mentality. There will always be a bias for action, strong work ethic, and a desire to achieve excellent results.
