About the Role
A truly exciting Senior leadership opportunity for a transformational focused Head of Business Performance within our Group Finance Team.
The Head of Business Performance provides commercial finance and strategic advice and support throughout the organisation. You will work closely with the Group Leadership Team and executive management to provide insightful financial and commercial analysis enabling us to deliver sustainable growth, improved margin performance and ensure we achieve our strategic objectives to ultimately improve the organisation’s enterprise value.
This is a highly influential role that reports directly to the Group CFO and leads a team of professionally qualified and skilled finance leaders who are strategically aligned and embedded throughout our business divisions.
In this role you will also:
- Partner and support corporate strategy in longer term planning and analysis to help steer the organisation
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging others to implement better approaches, and generating new solutions to address problems and opportunities.
- Lead and manage a highly skilled team of finance leaders and professionals. Setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff.
- Support the commercial finance response to any future mergers / demergers and acquisitions that aligns with the strategic growth plans of the organisation.
To be successful in your application you will:
- Be a strategic, visionary leader with strong relationship management skills
- Actively oversee the financial and commercial performance of all contracts and projects and work collaboratively with the business to improve the underlying performance, including supporting customer growth and retention.
- Have extensive experience managing complex transformational projects in a Corporate/ Finance setting providing leadership on enterprise-wide initiatives to help drive and influence change throughout the organisation.
- Experience with leading and supporting a large multinational and cross functional team.
- Be a builder of long-term trust-based relationships with other departments and the wider Datacom business.
- Be able to proactively identify, recommend, and lead projects of improved performance to deliver strategic and financial objectives. Initiative and implement change to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered.
- 10 15 years post CAANZ experience in an executive finance capacity
