Systems Engineer - Managed Services

Job Description
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Brisbane based Service Delivery team. Working across our customer base, your main focus will be to support some of our largest clients. The work is interesting and varied, undertaking IT infrastructure projects across a broad technology set.
Typical duties include:
- Technical implementation amp; maintenance of new amp; existing customers systems.
- Managing the day to day ICT environment of your assigned customer base including but not limited to:
- Antivirus
- Server, network, voice and storage capacity management
- Patching
- Security
- Risk, change and event management
- Provide 3rd level escalation for blueAPACHE's Service Desk
- Perform the role of client technical SME during any priority incident within your technical domain
- Manage to resolution all assigned incidents, requests, events and changes
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced broad skilled Systems Engineer, with a background working with a system integrator/managed services provider, including sound commercial and technical skills.
Required Skills
- Strong skills in MS Wintel products (MS Exchange, Office 365, Windows Server)
- Experience conducting infrastructure migrations (e.g. Office 365 upgrades; Network implementation)
- Solid and practical experience in MS Active Directory
- Networking (Cisco, HP), switching, routing and firewalls
- Citrix
- Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper V)
- You will ideally have a current Microsoft Technical Certifications such as MCSE Server Infrastructure / Messaging, Citrix CCA (or higher) and/or proven significant industry experience.
- You will be results orientated and have strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- You will be a motivated self-starter able to work either in a team environment or on your own.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
