What does it take to become a Civican?
Working collaboratively with the Head of Development ,Development Director , Architects and DevOps Engineers in the LG team to continuously improve, optimise and streamline these practices and will endeavour to do this in the most operationally efficient manner. They will also oversee the design and execution of new development initiatives as and when required (E.g. Veracode scanning, Sonarqube implementation, Data Masking etc.)We welcome your unique talents

You will be a proven leader with experience in leading development teams across software and data disciplines. You will have a strong track record of delivering results and driving best outcomes both internally and externally. You will also have:
- Strong software engineering background and experience with software development methodologies
- Good knowledge and history of implementing best practice engineering processes and practices.
- Experience of software architecture, development and testing
- Experience of DevOps tooling and processes including CI, CD and infrastructure-as-code
- Information Security principles, processes and practices
- Ability to build strong working relationships within and outside of the team
- Proven ability to contribute new ideas and better ways of working
- Strong experience in working on Microsoft stack
A day in the life
Fantastic opportunity for a Software Development Manager to be part of the Civica Group function for our Melbourne location. You will assist the Critical Software BU teams implement best practice, tooling, processes and procedures. You will have a solid foundation in application software engineering and strategies, along with proven experience in delivering complex software solutions to external customers. As Civica continue to drive best practice, you will be central in our ongoing Cloud evolution of numerous software products to maintain our competitive edge.
