Job Description

Are you an organised and experienced event coordinator looking to flaunt your creative flair on a large scale? Place’s calendar of events if bursting with opportunities from training events to large scale, speaker filled conferences and celebrations.

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for training and events, combined with graphic design skills as you will create almost all the event collateral. You must be driven to achieve results, incredibly creative with the ability to see the big picture (the clients experience), organised, and willing to work flexible hours.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • End-to-end event coordination, inclusive of: concept, planning, budgeting, development, delivery of all events and training days
  • Preparation of graphical Training and Events correspondence, visual presentation aids and communications
  • Collating internal bookings, processing registrations and payments
  • Designing event travel itineraries and program agenda’s for the group’s initiatives
  • Captaining the department in all aspects of Training and Events
  • Attending all Training amp; Events and running these events on 'game day'
  • Room set-up and co-ordination
  • Collation of all event budgets and reviewing, utilising existing frameworks
  • Working in greater detail with our Annual Conference and Awards evening

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Proven event coordination experience and previous delivery of significant events
  • An eye for improvement opportunities and the ambition to get in and offer contribution to the event experience
  • Confidence within the Adobe Creative Suite or alternative programs
  • Experience working within a high-volume environment requiring fast-paced admin skills
  • Proven high-end abilities within Microsoft Office Suite in particular PowerPoint
  • Experience with using the backend of a WordPress website or something similar
  • Understanding of AV equipment (Projectors, Clickers, On-screen operation etc)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a level of autonomism, prioritise and manage work effectively
  • Excellent people skills
