Brosa is looking for an experienced IT Manager / ICT Support Lead to join our growing team of over 100 staff. You’ll play an important part in providing the support, maintenance amp; improvements of the internal IT systems used by our staff across multiple cities around the world.

This role will be Melbourne based. Currently, due to COVID-19, our company’s work environment has shifted and most of the time, your role will likely be performed remotely at home. From time to time, the role and its requirements will physically take you to our Fitzroy Head Office, Fitzroy Showroom or Distribution Centres (Warehouses) in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.

As an IT Manager / ICT Support Lead at Brosa, you’ll get to:
  • Problem-solve system issues reported by our distributed employee base
  • Review amp; perform our IT systems onboarding amp; exit process for employees, including provisioning of accounts and maintaining hardware requests
  • Setup, maintain and troubleshoot our local networking requirements throughout our offices, showrooms and warehouses. This may involve travelling to those sites from time-to-time to more efficiently solve a problem
  • Learn amp; support some internally developed systems such as our ERP and order management systems, including developing internal training materials
  • Learn amp; support certain externally licensed systems such as a Warehouse Management Systems, including being a conduit between internal staff and external software vendors
  • Champion IT security across the organisation and our staff, and put in place security policies amp; training
  • Suggest, plan and implement improvements to our IT software, IT hardware and IT processes
  • Build and maintain an Asset Register for our IT hardware
  • Work with different people in the organization in varying roles and seniority


What you bring to the table

  • IT systems administration and networking knowledge including configuration setup and maintenance of software amp; hardware
  • Proficiency with MacOS amp; Windows
  • Technical problem solving skills, including identifying and addressing performance problems and creating efficiency through automation, documentation and training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (a.k.a G Suite)
  • Familiarity with other Cloud-based SaaS productivity tools such as Slack, Zapier amp; Zoom
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting Networking concepts such as VPNs and Wireless networks in an office, warehouse or retail store context
  • Strong attention to detail and being able to identify discrepancies and things that look wrong. This requires strong detective skills and may involve using spreadsheet software such as Excel or even direct database queries to try and pinpoint the problems.

A bonus (but not a must):

  • Working knowledge of SQL or a BI/Analytics tool
  • Hands-on data backup experience
  • Experience with Data Backup plans and Data Recovery
