The Position
What is a Support Worker I hear you ask? As a Support Worker you will provide assistance to people with a disability enabling them to achieve their goals, increase their independence and participate in community life.
Melba is growing, and we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced support workers to join our enthusiastic team in Ballarat as a DDSO2A.
You will be considered a skilled and experienced member of your team with both direct support work responsibilities and practice support amp; supervision of other team members.
Requirements

A Support Worker is someone who can think outside the box, has an open mind, is adaptable, flexible, empathetic, mature and has the capacity to deal with unexpected or challenging situations

You will also bring with you:
- Current Driver’s License
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate with CPR
- International Police Check if applicable
- Advanced Diploma Disability Work, Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability) or other equivalent qualification
- Willing to obtain the NDIS Worker Screening Check
