Are you a leader of people and experienced in getting the best out of a small team? Exciting permanent opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team.
efm Warehousing are currently searching for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for daily operations of a dedicated pick and pack team of up to 10-15 employees, ensuring all team members work efficiently and effectively, providing a high-quality service delivery to our A-list retail clients. This is a hands-on role working in a high energy and fast paced environment.
Requirements
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Lead warehouse staff by setting the standard in performance of duties and tasks
- Participate in distribution planning and resource management.
- Ensuring that all orders are picked and put away accurately in a safe and timely manner
- Manage warehouse workflow ensuring all customer's expectations are met - achieve team objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monitoring internal stock movements
- Functionality of warehouse operations (receiving and unloading of containers and inwards goods)
- Ensure the warehouse and storage sites are clean, tidy, and maintained.
- Drive team culture and empower your team to be the best they can be.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and commitment to ensuring a safe workplace
- Maintaining a safety-first operation and adhering to all WHS requirements.
To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- Previous experience in 3PL warehouse
- Lead by example experience leading, coaching and managing a team within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to motivate and develop team members
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- A current forklift licence (LF) with high-reach forklift experience
- A great work ethic, combined with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Effective communication, problem solving skills and a forward thinking mind-set.
