At Frazer-Nash, you will use your engineering knowledge to influence the design, build, operation, and maintenance of complex systems ensuring technical risks are identified, communicated and managed each step of the way. Systems Engineer
This role will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Lead and deliver high-quality systems engineering work in accordance with client needs and requirements. This may include:
- Concept of Operations development and Needs Analysis.
- Requirements Elicitation and Requirements Management.
- Systems Architecture Design and Systems Modelling.
- Systems Integration and Vamp;V.
- Work collaboratively with our clients to understand the challenge and deliver a solution.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Define scopes of work and work breakdown structures.
- Develop creative commercial strategies for the successful contracting of new work.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Lead and deliver high-quality systems assurance (systems safety) work in accordance with client needs and requirements. This may include:
- Authoring system safety program plans.
- Undertaking detailed hazard and risk analyses of engineered systems.
- Developing safety cases and risk management plans or strategies.
- Work collaboratively with our clients to understand the challenge and deliver a solution.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Define scopes of work and work breakdown structures.
- Develop creative commercial strategies for the successful contracting of new work.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers.
Systems Safety
This role will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Lead and deliver high-quality systems assurance (systems safety) work in accordance with client needs and requirements. This may include:

- Developing safety cases and risk management plans or strategies.

Requirements
Systems Engineer
- Bachelor of Engineering/Science Degree or higher. (essential)
- Australian Citizenship. (essential)
- Minimum of 3 years delivery experience in one or more phases of Systems Engineering. This may include:
- Concept of Operation Development.
- Requirements Management and Definition (DOORS experience desirable).
- Systems Architecture Design and Systems Modelling (SysML/MBSE).
- Systems Integration.
- Vamp;V and acceptance activities.
- Excellent client management/stakeholder engagement skills.
- Previous Transport or Defence experience. (highly regarded)
- Professional networks in Transport and Defence. (desirable)
- Consultancy experience. (desirable)
- Certified System Engineering Professional (CSEP) with INCOSE (desirable).
- Chartered Status with Engineers Australia. (desirable)
