THE ROLE

The Store Manager’s mission is to guide the smooth operations of their store and to lead and guide their team. Inspiring and developing them, in order to cultivate an engaging environment that fortifies the store’s performance across customer-facing and commercial objectives.

In leading their team, the Store Manager will motivate and drive each individual to deliver the highest level of customer service, simultaneously fostering an environment that is positive, supportive, and energetic.

The successful talent will possess innate people skills, with a robust understanding of what customers need and will draw on their solid leadership experience to manage and multi-task across people leadership; commercial performance; visual merchandising; retail operations; stock management; reporting; and training and hiring.

As a natural relationship-builder, the Store Manager will work closely with our customers to cultivate a loyal database for their store. Additionally, they will be experts in their ability to deliver succinct technical product advice, both to customers and in teaching team members, drawing on their comprehensive brand knowledge across product and brand value.

The talent we seek will be a thoughtful and confident communicator, with an excellent understanding of the brand and its customer profiles. They will be consistent and attentive across all of their interactions with stakeholders, team and customers, and will balance this with a passion for entrepreneurship, excellence and business growth.

They will come with a demonstrated history in retail sales, exceptional customer service capabilities, and experience understanding and achieving KPIs and sales targets.

The ideal talent will be passionate about their retail career; possess a proactive and results-driven attitude, and have the innate ability to navigate problems and employ excellent organisation and delegation skills.

Requirements

  • Min 2+ years in a customer-facing leadership role (Manager or Assistant Manager)
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • An outstanding communicator and negotiator, with the ability to interact and connect with many types of personalities
  • Patient and flexible teacher and have a passion for empowering others
  • Able to quickly and efficiently problem solve, but comfortable asking for help
  • Self-motivated, able to operate independently with minimal oversight but also an excellent collaborator
  • Ability to manage your own time and prioritize what’s important
  • Passionate and energetic and happy to get your hands dirty
